Desktop effect error

Now i`m trying to solve problem why i cant get glow effects of Linux Ubuntu i get error like this:

So I decided to go to official

Linux Ubuntu forum, i posted few question about it but until now i cant get any answers to my post. That pissed me off. So i decided to download a different Linux version
Mandriva weight about ~4.10gygabytes thats allot for my internet speed (download ~120kb/s, upload ~70kb\s). Now I`m waiting when it will be downloaded left about 50% it should be downloaded in about 6 ours.

Software installation problem

I downloaded Skype (about Skype will talk in the next post) Linux version, tried to install but i get an error which says that i cant install because of wrong Architecture "i386" i though "holly cow what is that" so i posted about it in Linux Ubuntu forum but until now no one can answer me (what a shame).
Thats all for now bye bye i`m going to watch "Heroes" and after that to bed. Goodnight!
